Individual Membership
Available to those professionals involved in organizational management responsibilities related to healthcare practitioners in any healthcare setting/entity. Individual members shall pay dues and shall be eligible to vote and hold office.
Institutional Membership
Consist of individuals actively involved in credentialing, privileging, risk, quality, provider organization, and/or regulatory compliance in the healthcare industry. Institutional members’ dues are paid by their institution and membership is transferable only to a professional of the same institution. If the member leaves the institution, they are eligible to apply to Individual Membership. A designated facility contact person shall notify the HAMSP Board of Directors by email of the transfer. Institutional members shall be eligible to vote and hold office with current membership.
Honorary Membership
May be awarded at the discretion of the Association Board of Directors to those individuals recognized for their contributions to the medical staff management profession or their previous longstanding services to the Association. Honorary members shall not be required to pay dues and shall not be eligible to vote or hold office. Honorary members may be appointed to committees or special projects at the direction of the Association president or the Board.
